1. O level Course

1.1 Objective of the O Level Course- 

The objective of O level course provide a student with the necessary skills and an important job role.
  • User Interface (UI) Designer
  • Web Designer
  • Web Publication Assistant
  • Office Automation Assistant
  • IoT Application Integrator

1.2 Structure of O Level Course-

O Level Course consists of 4 theory papers modules, one project, and one Project. The pattern of the ‘O’ Level syllabus is indicated below:

1.3 Time Duration of the Course-

Time Duration of the O level course is 520 hours periods and minimum time period complete topics within 6 months.

2.Practical

The college students have to commit 60% of the complete time dispensed to every module of the route for the practical sessions. Practical assignments have been worked out for every concept module. O level Practical examination will be theory based on the syllabus M1-R5, M2-R5, M3-R5 and M4-R5 modules of the ‘O’ Level course.

3.Project


O level Project DOEACC curriculum has a project as an important thing of ‘O’ Level course. O level Project is achieved by way of the student beneath the steering and assist of college and management of the respective Institute / Organization. It is felt that such a mission affords a possibility to the scholar to apply his / her information and competencies to real lifestyles problems (inclusive of oral and written conversation abilities), and as such the undertaking need to accept utmost importance and priority both by the students as well as institution faculty/management in appreciate of its identification, planning, and implementation.

4. SCHEME FOR DOEACC ‘O’ LEVEL


Award of credit score to a scholar will facilitate measurement/assessment of study hours inclusive of Theory Lectures, Tutorials and Practical Assignments put in a given module/paper/subject under the Scheme with the similar route in IT in India and abroad. This will also facilitate different Universities/ Apex Accrediting bodies to recall educational and professional equivalence of DOEACC courses. This will also help students/agencies to transfer credit from DOEACC to other educational bodies and vice-versa for ensuring persevering with education.

  1. First credit is defined as one hour of lecture and 2 hours of tutorials/ practical every week for one semester consisting of 20 weeks.

  2. The total variety of credits earned in a module is calculated using AICTE formula (as applicable to Under Graduate Courses in IT namely C=L + (T+P)/2 where L, T, and P specify the number of hours per week for Lectures, Tutorials, and Practicals.

  3. The scheme was applied from July 2003 examinations.


5.  Examination Pattern 

The theory examination for every module beneath the fifth revised program would be for a period of 3 hours and also the total marks for each subject would be 100. One sensible examination of 3 hours period and would be of a hundred marks. the primary examination with the revised program is going to be command in January month 2020, that teaching can begin with an immediate result.
Dates for the various activities connected with examinations will be announced on NIELIT website, well in advance of the examinations.
Practical work will be managed at Institutions/organizations, which are running the course. NIELIT will be answerable for retaining the exam for theory and sensible both for the students from Accredited Centers and pupils at large.

6. Practical Examination Scheme

The O level Practical Examination can be conducted by using the NIELIT in reputed Institutions for all candidates. The institutes are obliged to facilitate the conduct of Practical Examinations and set up infrastructure, guide of its college and group of workers for the conduct of Practical Examination at their Centre.
The practical duration is 3 hours include viva.
Maximum marks is 100 = 80 (Pratical) + 20 (viva)
